Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients
    • Soak the bihon noodles in warm water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
    • Slice the chicken, shrimp, and vegetables into thin strips.
  2. Sauté Aromatics
    • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large wok over medium heat.
    • Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and golden brown.
  3. Cook the Meat
    • Add the sliced chicken or pork, stirring until browned.
    • If using shrimp, add them last and cook until pink (1-2 minutes).
  4. Add Vegetables and Seasoning
    • Toss in carrots, cabbage, and bell peppers.
    • Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and fish sauce, stirring everything together.
  5. Cook the Noodles
    • Push the meat and vegetables to one side of the wok.
    • Add the drained bihon noodles and pour in chicken broth.
    • Toss everything together until the noodles absorb the sauce and soften.
  6. Final Adjustments
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with lemon or calamansi wedges.
