Ingredients
  

  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • Oil for frying or brushing tortillas
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (if baking tortillas). Lightly brush tortillas with oil and bake for 5–7 minutes per side until crispy, or fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  • Step 2: In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions.
  • Step 3: Warm refried beans in a small saucepan or microwave.
  • Step 4: Assemble tostadas by spreading a layer of refried beans on each crispy tortilla.
  • Step 5: Top with a layer of seasoned ground beef, then add lettuce, tomatoes, avocado slices, shredded cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
  • Step 6: Garnish with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
